 Foothold is a dynamic organisation, with a dynamic team, working to deliver lasting social, economic and environmental change.
           
We recycle furniture, support community initiatives, turn rubbish dumps into playground facilities and help people start up new businesses, to name just a few things we do. As diverse as these activities all seem, they are bound together by a common Foothold objective; improving quality of life.

Sarah joined FACE in September 2006 displaying a nervous and timid disposition. However her personality has blossomed since her referral to our Alternative Curriculum Project. Sarah has developed a wealth of confidence both in her abilities and demeanour.

 Foothold Executive Chairman heads up new pan-Wales Chamber organization – The Business Dragons – eChamber Wales Ltd :
13 February 2007 will see the launch of a major new initiative by the Chamber movement in Wales. ‘The Business Dragons – eChamber Wales will be the largest enterprise representative body in Wales with a combined membership of around 6000 enterprises from every part of Wales. Children from Foothold’s Alternative Curriculum Education Project attended the first annual Awards Ceremony this month and were treated to a visit from Wales and British Lion’s Rugby Legend Scott Quinnell and Wales and Scarlets player Nathan Thomas.

 Llwynhendy Youth Group Serve Up A Treat :
Tuesday 28th November saw eight members of the Llwynhendy Youth Group provide forty residents of the Llwyn Yr Ynys Residential complex in Llwynhendy with a three course Christmas Dinner and presents.  This was made possible thanks to the support of the Communities First Trust Fund.
