PAUL ORAM - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Paul joined Foothold in 1999, bringing with him depth and breadth of experience gained in the commercial world adding real impetus to the organisations Enterprise Development portfolio. Paul started his career as a HR manager with a European multi national in the automotive manufacturing sector, before moving on to set-up his own retail organisation with outlets throughout West Wales.

Since joining Foothold he has steered the growth of the Enterprise division to develop a property portfolio of over 60 business offices and workshops; to win a range of business consultancy contracts; to drive membership of Carmarthenshire Chamber of Commerce above 700 (as its contracted agent); and to set up a commercial business training division.

Paul has also helped establish enterprise initiatives to engage young people in the development of creative and entrepreneurial skills.

Paul is involved in a number of other organisations:

• Vice Chairman and Director Young Enterprise Wales

He is also a:

• Former Wales national event athletics coach
• Former Chair Dyfed Committee for Employment of Disabled People 1977 – 1990
